Post-16 Courses

Kingsbury High School Sixth Form offers a wide range of A Level and Btec National courses


For our A level courses, students are expected to achieve at least a level 6 or above in English Language and a level 5 or above in Mathematics. Additional subject requirements are listed in the Entry Criteria.

For most of our BTEC Nationals, students are expected to achieve at least a level 4 or above in both English Language and Mathematics. Additional subject requirements are listed in the Entry Criteria. The option of retaking GCSE Maths is available.

We also offer an 'Access to Humanities at University' Pathway. Students are expected to achieve at least a level 5 in English Language. For most of our BTEC Nationals, a level 4 or above in English Language and Mathematics is expected. Additional subject requirements are listed below.

All courses help our students progress to university or degree apprenticeship pathways. We also encourage our students to make informed choices about their next steps, by considering potential higher education pathways and career aspirations when choosing subjects or courses.
