September Bridging Work

Why do bridging work?

Bridging work should help you gauge whether the subject is for you, so you can change your mind at enrolment – as long as there is space and you meet the entry criteria. We would rather you studied courses that interest you and you are sufficiently qualified to study.

Bridging Work for Year 11 will be updated on this page by 22 May 2020.

All Year 11s students who wish to gain a place in the Sixth Form will need to complete the Bridging Work. Bridging Work usually assessed by your teachers in September and students are expected to gain the minimum of a Pass to continue on the course.

What if I do not meet the entry criteria to take up the course?

Students who complete bridging work for courses they cannot take up because they did not meet the entry criteria will need to switch complete the b/work for a new course for which they do qualify to take, as soon as they know their official grades in August.

What is the bridging work below?

The b/work for 2019 features below and will be updated ready for Monday 1 June.
