At Kingsbury High School we have some straightforward ambitions: among these are to be a school founded on personal excellence and equality. That’s easier said than done but, if we’re to get close, we have to look self-critically at what we are achieving and be clear where we need to improve.
Inside, therefore, is our school self-evaluation. It’s for you, our stakeholders: our parents, our staff, our students, our community. It’s not an Ofsted style document. We don’t describe ourselves as good or outstanding or requiring improvement. There are no grades. We simply have certain expectations of ourselves, set out on the back page, and are keen to see whether we have met them and how we can get better.
Most important, of course, is that we keep on developing as a school, continually striving to improve the provision we make for the communities we are proud to serve.
