Excel Days

Year 7

Students from Year 7 had the opportunity as part of the Excel Day program to visit key landmarks of our capital city, helping them to further their understanding of the UK’s history, understanding the workings of government and the cultural significance of our capital city

It was great to see the sun shining on Year 7, and it was great to see them so engaged with lots of questions being asked, we understand 7Y put some great questions to Barry Gardiner and we look forward to them sharing their experiences with the rest of Year 7.

The Rest of School

The rest of the school took part in an Excel Day on Thursday 6th July. Year 8 took part in their chosen activities, some of these involved external activities i.e. golf or taking part in school activities. Year 9 all took part in the leadership programme and were able to lead other students in their chosen subject. Year 10 participated in careers and healthy relationships workshops with external speakers and a performance. Year 12 all visited universities to find out more about further education.
