Kingsbury High School is delighted to celebrate another year of strong academic achievement, with students achieving excellent results across both GCSE and post-16 qualifications in 2026.
Year 13 Success
Our Year 13 students once again achieved an impressive set of results, with over half of A-level grades awarded at A–B*, while 79% of BTEC National results were Distinction or Distinction*.
Among the many individual successes, one student secured a place at Oxford University to study Electrical Engineering – an outstanding achievement and testament to their hard work and dedication.
More than 120 students are progressing to higher education, with 38% heading to Russell Group universities. This includes two students who will be studying Medicine at prestigious institutions.
Our leavers are going on to study an exciting range of courses at universities across the country, with popular choices including Accounting and Finance, Computer Science, Economics, Law, Mechanical Engineering, Politics and International Relations, and Social Sciences. Other students have successfully secured apprenticeships and will begin the next stage of their careers.
GCSE Achievement
There was also plenty to celebrate for our Year 11 students. 71% of all GCSE grades were awarded at Grade 4 or above, representing a significant increase from 2025, while 54% were at Grade 5 or above. An impressive 20% of grades were awarded at Grades 9–7, equivalent to the former A*–A grades.
There were some exceptional individual performances too, including Ali, who achieved an incredible nine Grade 9s.
These results provide our Year 11 students with a strong foundation as they move into post-16 education, vocational training and future career pathways.
We are incredibly proud of all our students and everything they have achieved. Their results reflect not only their own determination and hard work, but also the dedication of our teachers and support staff and the encouragement of families at home.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026 – we wish you every success in the exciting next chapter ahead!
