Kingsbury Students Inspired by British Airways Captain

Kingsbury High School had the pleasure of welcoming Alan Brooks to KHS, a Senior British Airways Captain, for National Careers Week. He delivered an inspirational assembly to Year 11s and 12s about the importance of being a motivated learner, in order to achieve your goals, in addition to sharing his experiences as a pilot. Later in the day, students from Years 10 had the opportunity to hear Alan's presentation, and were given further insight into his educational journey and extra-curricular achievements while at College and University. He shared how he had studied a vocational course and degree in electronics, then progressed to becoming an RAF Officer Cadet, while studying at the University of London Air Squadron. We would like to thank Alan for taking the time out of his busy schedule to speak to, and motivate our students.
