KHS recent alumnus attends London Phoenix Orchestra’s (LPO) Great Classics Evening, Smith Square Westminster

I had the privilege of meeting Meetraa Kunduzi during the head -girl interviews and was impressed by her abilities, enthusiasm and particularly her love for trumpeting. Saw her at the school event and I was even more impressed. I suggested she join me at one of the LPO concerts where they were looking out for young trumpeters with grade 8 and over qualifications. As a liveried member of the Worshipful Company of Insurers and more then often as a guest I have been attending the LPO concerts for a few years. LPO, a charity, started as and is an amateur insurance industry orchestra, albeit with a wider musician ‘group and a sizeable instrumental ensemble. It now does five concerts a year playing mainly at Smith Square Westminster and at the Cadogan Hall.
