London School of Economics Street Law
We have been thrilled to welcome Law Students from the London School of Economics Street Law programme. They delivered 6 workshops introducing Year 12 students to studying Law at university. Our dedicated students, who were also been joined by some students from Alperton, have been discussing legal cases, learning new terms (mens rea/actus reus) and improving their understanding of the judicial system. During this session they discussed the concept of representation and equality in the judicial system. What does representation mean and look like? Is it important? How can it be achieved? Students' engagement was exceptional with a range of thoughtful views explored.
We wish our Year 12s continued success on exploring Law as a possible university and career option.
