Wear Blue for Wellbeing

As you are aware, Kingsbury High School is a ‘Silver’ Rights Respecting School and we are committed to ensuring that our students are aware of their rights and respect the rights of other members of the school community.
So a big thanks to all of you who have supported 'wear blue for wellbeing' today and or encouraged our students to do the same. We have raised nearly £900 across both sites for the School Council who will use the money to educate and support students with anti-bullying initiatives. We have chosen this as an introduction to national 'anti-bullying' week next week.
Over the next 2 weeks during form time students will be working through resources from UNICEF focusing on the issue of bullying. The resources raise awareness and encourage students to have a ‘tell’ culture. They also explain the ways in which the school community can access support within the school, how the school manages/ sanctions bullying behaviours and how we always support victims with a focus on restorative justice for all.
