Brent Summer University 2009 |
 This year Brent Summer University (BSU) is again providing some exciting courses for young people aged between 11 to 25 at various venues including Kingsbury High School (Bacon Lane site) from 27th July to 21st August 2009.
All courses are free and have been selected by young people. If you are interested in taking a course, please take a look at their brochure. To join a course you will have to complete an application form from the brochure which must be signed by a parent/carer/guardian.

Send My Friend to School 2009 |
 This year, the Send My Friend to School campaign involved The Year 7s looking at Tanzania and how their students' school experience is different to ours. The focus was on how reading was the key to opening doors for education, and the campaign was called The Big Read.

The Fourth Plinth Competition |
The Fourth Plinth Competition was a London wide competition to design a piece of sculpture for the vacant Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square.
Students at Kingsbury High School who entered the competition, attended the awards ceremony on 15 May 2009, at City Hall in the council chamber. They won first prize in Brent and third prize in London.
