High School

Young Enterprise at KHS is taken very seriously and we have had a great deal of success over recent years. The aim of the programme is for students to gain first-hand experience of business and entrepreneurship by setting up and running their own company, for which they produce and sell goods and services both in and out of school.

The success of this business rests heavily on the imagination and determination of the students and the opportunities they use to make their business thrive with the use of clever sales, marketing and business strategies.

As the Young Enterprise year progresses, the companies have an opportunity to compete against 3,000 other teams across the UK based in a series of business competitions throughout the year.

With impressive trade stands and presentations, Kingsbury High teams have excelled in recent years reaching the West London and London Final stages. Throughout their journey, each member of the team developing excellent skills of teamwork and organisation as well developing their business and marketing techniques. They also gain huge confidence from the numerous opportunities of sales and public presentation. Each company must also complete a variety of tasks including producing company reports, financial documents, and adverts as well as designing a website.
