Year 9 Cricket Tour
Last weekend, we took 11 Year 9 boys away to Suffolk and Essex on a cricket tour. Departing Thursday and getting back Sunday, we played 4 games in 4 days, winning 3 and losing one. These were against 3 private schools, including the one Ed Sheeran went to, and a school who were over on tour from India.
Winning the games was the least important thing of the weekend as the boys experienced being away from home, go karting, going to the beach, arcades, bowling, laser tag, team bonding and much more. The boys were a credit to the school with guests in one of the restaurants we visited saying 'your boys are impeccably behaved', a parent at one of the matches said ' your boys played the game in the right spirit and were a joy to watch', and another saying they 'were a credit to your school'.
The boys were a pleasure to take away and so if you see any of them around, please congratulate them. They were Neel, Hassan, Hamza, Sikander, Qudratullah, Bhavya, Krishna, Nisar, Aarusan, Deep and Tanzil.
