High School

Keep Well Project

As a school we constantly look for ways to improve the well being of our staff, students and community. Ashford Place, in partnership with NHS Brent CCG, work on two very important health initiatives to:

1) ensure that people diagnosed with mental health conditions are receiving their annual health checks

2) enable and empower people to manage their health conditions via a community Keep Well project.

However, Brent NHS CCG report that uptake of these health checks is not on target.

Their aim is to make the most vulnerable in our community aware of these checks and the necessity of them making and attending their appointments. Therefore, if you, or someone you know, would benefit from these annual health check, please take a moment to read the leaflet of the ‘Keep Well’ campaign run by Brent NHS. This project aims to equip more vulnerable people with the skills to deal independently with their minor health issues, without having to ‘over visit ‘A & E / GP surgeries.
