Target 9 Session for High Achieving Year 11s

On Wednesday 9 February after school, thirty high achieving Year 11s were invited to a workshop in the Sixth Form Centre after school on choosing A Levels to match their degree and career choices. The Senior Prefects in Year 13 led the session which was co-ordinated by Head of Sixth Form, Miss Hollingworth. The prefects shared advice about A-Level choices as well as extra and super-curricular tips to help with university entrance and writing a personal statement. Year 11 then had some healthy (and a few unhealthy!) refreshments before they used the PCs in the Sixth Form Study Room to search the options that suited their own journey.

If you are in Year 11 and want to know similar information then note that all Year 11s and parents/carers are invited to a Russell Group Evening online on 23 February at 6pm. The link to register has been shared with all Year 11 Students and Parents.

Finally, a big thank you to all the Senior Prefects including Head Boy, Vishil and Head Girl, Aleeyah for their work with Target 9!
