Importance of Testing

With a new Variant it is important to ensure we do not allow this new variant to spread.

A key way of keeping us, our families and communities safe is regular testing.

We also want to avoid any disruption to your learning and we fully appreciate how much time you have already lost of your learning over the last two years.

By us all testing twice a week - we can all do our bit in keeping us all safe and reducing transmission of the virus.

How do I test

If you need any support in testing at home, please find this helpful video How do I test

When do I test

We are asking all members of our school community to test on a Wednesday and Sunday evening.

Reporting my Test

Once you have completed your test you are asked to register your test result with the NHS https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result.

You also need to complete this Google form for the school records:

Report your result to school

If the test is positive, you  must isolate and you need to book a confirmation PCR Test, which will be processed by lab technicians.  https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test‚Äč

On site Testing

For our return to school in January all students whose families have consented testing will have an on site school test in our own testing sites within the first week of return as a key way of preventing the spread of the virus.

Thank you to you all for your commitment in testing in helping us getting back to normal. Students are regularly provided at school with test kits.
