High School

The 'Active in Mind' programme uses physical activity to help develop positive behaviours in the lifestyle and mindset of pupils.

On Tuesday 8th December, the GB Olympic swimmer, Tom Haffield, worked with a small group of Year 10 students. They then met a group of Year 7's and led them from different classrooms 'virtually' in a variety of physical activities. They will be working with the group over a number of sessions, acting as 'peer mentors' and helping to reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood and build emotional resilience.
