High School

During the Foundation Stage, students engage in a broad range of experiences which help them develop as young individuals with an appreciation of Modern British Values through completing the Kingsbury Guarantee.   When they have completed their Guarantee, students graduate in Year 9.

In order to graduate, students must provide evidence of their competency across 12 key areas:

  1. Independence
  2. Leadership
  3. Team work
  4. Aims and aspirations
  5. Communication
  6. Literacy
  7. Numeracy
  8. Problem solving
  9. Positive thinking
  10. Creativity
  11. Listening
  12. Presenting

The pinnacle of the Foundation Stage is the Graduation Ceremony where students are recognised for their achievements.  Students graduate at different tiers according to how well they have met the criteria we set for graduating. The highest accolade is to graduate with Distinction.
