Services Provided

•    One to one listening service for all students from Year 7 – Year 13. Referrals can be made by any staff members, parents or carers via the students’ Head of Year. Upper School students can self-refer.

All staff can access the counselling service where appropriate or Ms Zar can refer them to an outside counselling agency.

•    Stress management workshops for Year 11 students. These take place in small groups during key decisions lessons.

•    Focus groups which Ms Zar co-facilitates with a visiting psychotherapist. These groups allow students to talk about school issues and conflicts.

•    The listening skills training and supervision for connect peer workers. Connect is the anti-bullying support programme run by Kingsbury High School.
