The Kingsbury High Parents and Teacher Association has a long tradition of supporting our students and the school. Each year the PTA undertakes a variety of activities organised by a committee.

The purpose of the PTA:
•    Work with students, teachers and governors at the school to support events and special projects.
•    Help parents/carers support their children to get the most out of their time at Kingsbury High.
•    Organise events that help bring the school community of students, teachers, governors and parents/carers closer together.
•    Improve links between the school and the wider local community.
•    Make students proud of KHS’s contribution to their community.

Previous achievements:
•    Picnic in the park – charity fund raiser
•    Three day music production raised money for the Music department
•    Table top sale raised funds for school library

Upcoming events:
•    1 Oct 2010: Dandiya (Indian dance) evening
•    Feb 2010: International day

Ideas being considered:
•    Car boot sale
•    Dragons Den
•    Homework surgeries

How you could help:
•    Come to our meetings and contribute your ideas (8:15 – 8:45 am, Third Thursday of the month, Parents’ Room, KHS Lower School Building)
•    Volunteer time for projects and events that interest you
•    Spread the word.
