Behaviour Policy
The school’s behaviour management is based on a Behaviour for Learning Policy which has been developed to our needs from a nationally recognised system. There are a range of ways of recognising and rewarding students and there is a well-established consequences structure which supports opportunities for students to make the right choice before sanctions are applied. This continues to be a major focus for the school as does maintaining consistency of rewards and sanctions.

Consequences include detention (Consequence 3 or a ‘C3’), internal exclusion in our Responsible Learning Centre (C4), exclusion (C5) and permanent exclusion (C6). Under the law, the Headteacher may also direct that a student attend off-site provision designed to improve their behaviour.

It is also important to note that the school's responsibilities extend to dealing with any misuse of social media directed towards another student or member of staff, whenever this might have taken place.
