Admissions
Kingsbury High is a fully comprehensive and inclusive school and we welcome students of all abilities. We admit students who go on to Oxbridge entry alongside those with special needs.

Details of the Admissions Policy can be found at the Featured Content section to the right, with the School's Published Admission Number increased from 315 to 336 for Years 7-10 and remaining at 315 for Year 11 in September 2017. The following information may also be helpful.

  • A student is certain to gain admission if, at the time of application, they have a sibling in Years 7-11 at the school
  • They are almost certain to get in if they attend one of our feeder schools: Fryent, Kingsbury Green, Oliver Goldsmith, Roe Green.
  • After that, the closer they live the better – within a mile there is a good chance.

Brent Council co-ordinates admissions at age 11; the school holds an open evening annually in October; to find out about admission to the Sixth Form, please come along to our annual Sixth Form open evening in November or contact the Director of Sixth Form, Mr Senior.
